This is to notify that Littelfuse will optimize the lead frame inner dimension for On portfolio Dpak part numbers. There will be no change on product fit, form, and function. The lead frame dimension optimization is implemented to improve the process capability and can be only observed via X-Ray.In this notice is the sample X-Ray image difference between original and new lead frame.
It's our pleasure to announce, that Littelfuse have successfully completed the On Thyristor portfolio transfer.Attached please find the updated Rev.B of PCN qualification report, which now cover all the transfer part numbers in On Thyristor portfolio. And also attached a �New affected part number list� - the newly completed parts in TO-251, TO-252 and TO-225AA (those remain part numbers did not cover at last transfer PCN report in Feb'14 notification).This report covers manufacturing site transfer activities of Thyristor products acquired from ON Semiconductor. Site transfer includes backend assembly, final test and packaging operations.
Manufacture Location Transfer and Obsolete for Acquired ON Semiconductor Thyristor This is to announce the manufacture location transfer for acquired ON Semiconductor thyristor. This transfer will cover majority of acquired ON Semiconductor thyristor part numbers except 4 part numbers will be obsoleted instead. Littelfuse decided to obsolete 4 part numbers in acquired TO220 isolated series as stated. - Discontinuation to be processed on Future Electronics PCN 57352
Future Electronics is withdrawing the previously issued PCN56563. An error was made in the part list originally communicated. We apologize for the inconvenience.This Littelfuse PCN is only for the acquired ON Semiconductor Commercial TVS Diodes.Automotive Grade TVS Diodes (part numbers starting with �SZ�), Thyristors, and Ignition IGBTs are not affected by this PCN. A new PCN record will be issued to replace Future Electronics PCN 56563. Affected Customers will be notified.Thank you
Description of Change: In merging the ON Semiconductor TVS Diodes with Littelfuse TVS Diodes for better business management and convenience to our customers in their design selection,. The decision made is to obsolete the acquired ON Semiconductor commercial TVS Diodes but replace them with Littelfuse Wuxi , China manufacturing site made commercial TVS Diodes. Communication Letter of Backend Assembly Transfer for Acquired ON Semiconductor Thyristor Presently we are working very closely with ON Semiconductor for the assembly production transfer into either the Littelfuse Wuxi, China based manufacturing site, or a Littelfuse sub-contractor site. We will continue to use the same outsourced wafer foundry that ON Semiconductor was using for all products. The assembly transfer is targeted to be complete by Q1'2018 and official PCNs will be sent out separately between Q3'2017 to Q1'2018 to cover different package types.
